As she neared the gatehouse, it is remembered that she turned her gaze to the setting sun bathing the picturesque wolds in a warm glow, and whereupon the men of Burton Agnes were playing Cricket. \u201cHalt\u201d she exclaimed to her courtiers thus bringing her entourage to a complete stop.
